HOLY TRINITY - SUNDAY, OCTOBER 31
Today we commemorated at the church the 81st anniversary of OXI Day, a defining moment in modern Greek history.
On October 28, 1940, Greek Prime Minister Ioannis Metaxas defied an ultimatum handed to him by the Italian Ambassador in Athens, Emanuele Grazzi.
The Greek resistance ultimately led to Germany’s defeat in Russia, which eventually ended the war.
Congratulations to all the students who participated in our in celebration at the church today! They were all amazing and we are very proud of them! ΜΠΡΑΒΟ τους!
