In honor of the visit of His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to the United States in October, 2021, and in recognition of His love and respect for the environment as a work of God, the Ladies Philoptochos of Holy Trinity New Rochelle, New York, planted a small, yet beautiful, dogwood tree in the front yard of our Church. In the years to come, this tree will delight parishioners and visitors with its beauty, will serve as a reminder of His historic visit, and will represent the importance of respecting and preserving our environment. A prayer and dedication ceremony was held after Sunday liturgy on September 19, 2021.
