HAPPY NEW SCHOOL YEAR!
Yesterday, Friday, September 22, 2023, our Holy Trinity Greek Afternoon School held its first day of school for the new academic year. The day began with the Agiasmo ceremony at the church, where students, teachers, and families gathered to receive a blessing from our priests, Fr. Nick and Fr. Demetrios.
The Agiasmos ceremony is a traditional Greek Orthodox way to start the new school year. It is a time to pray for God's guidance and protection for our students, teachers, and staff. It is also a time to celebrate the new school year and the opportunity to learn and grow.
After the Agiasmo ceremony, students and teachers went to their classes. We were all very excited to start the new school year and welcome back our students and teachers. We wish everyone a great school year!
