Breast cancer has affected each of us. All of us know wives, mothers, daughters, sisters, sons, brothers, fathers, husbands, friends, and relatives who have lost their battles or are still fighting. In addition to those battling the disease, there are many care givers who have committed their time and compassion to loved ones. This year we will be walking in memory of those who have lost their battle. The Ladies Philoptochos Society of Holy Trinity Church, New Rochelle has organized a team to participate in the American Cancer Society’s 2019 Making Strides of Westchester NY walk.
More than 250,000 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. 85% of breast cancers occur in women who have no family history of breast cancer. There are more than 3.1 million women with a history of breast cancer in the U.S.
Please join us on the walk or support our team with you contribution to help us meet our goal of $5,000.
