An amazing outpouring of love and generosity was displayed by our parishioners to the Saint Nicholas Giving Tree appeal this year. Over 150 presents will be distributed by Fr. Nick to needy children in the greater New Rochelle area through the WestCOP community service program.

Family and friends of our afternoon Greek School attended the annual Christmas program held this evening. The audience enjoyed musical selections from the Westchester County Youth Orchestra.
William Zegras led his table - with the Three French Hens - verse of the 12 Days of Christmas at the Ministries Christmas gathering held in conjunction with the final Parish Council meeting of 2018. The dinner was sponsored by Manny Louros.

The life of Saint Nicholas was the topic of this morning’s Sunday School sermon and the idea of giving this Christmas season. Our Saint Nicholas Giving Tree program is underway for needy children in New Rochelle.
More than 125 GOYA teenagers gathered this evening in our social hall for a Christmas Dance hosted by our own GOYA members.
Our Ladies Philoptochos Society held its annual Candlelight Dinner and honored Georgia Lyras for her many years of service to the Chapter. On the occasion of the Feast of Saint Nicholas the Philoptochos presented Fr. Nick with a name day cake, and he shared the honor with Nicholas Lyras. The ladies were entertained by our own Westchester County Greek Youth Orchestra.
