The Senior Class of Holy Cross School of Theology visited the National Philoptochos Center of Philanthropy in NYC. Father Nick was asked to join Maria Logus, National Philoptochos President and Georgia Vlitas, National Philoptochos Board Member and Chairman of Philoptochos Philanthropy to speak to the graduates about the Homeless Soup Run that we do at Holy Trinity Church. Thank you to Deacon Simon Menya!
An evening dinner with Deacon Simon Menya before he returns to Uganda on Wednesday. We thank him for his dedication and service to Holy Trinity for the last two years. May God grant him many years and great strength in his ministry in his homeland. We will miss him very much!
Service Highlight: Merry Christmas!
At the conclusion of the Christmas Liturgy a symbolic “Mortgage Burning” was held honoring Mr. John Rapp and Dr. George Yancopoulos - two individuals who made the purchase of the North Avenue parcel possible.
The loan provided to the community for the purchase by Mr. Rapp was paid in full just prior to Christmas this year with a generous donation by Dr. Yancopoulos. Participants included Fr. Nick, John Rapp, Costa Papademetriou, former past president and Dino Yotides, current Parish Council President.

Our Sunday School, once again, presented the Birth of Christ in magnificent fashion together with our Junior Choir. Every pew was filled with the joy of Christmas. The annual Christmas Pageant was directed by Francine Soropoulos Kyriakos and our Junior Choir was led by Georgeann Mavrovitis.
Children’s Christmas Liturgy and Brunch
The Children’s Christmas Liturgy and Brunch was held this morning and there was a surprise visit from Santa, who gave out presents to our little ones. Merry Christmas! 🎄
