Festive Final Parish Council meeting of 2018

William Zegras led his table - with the Three French Hens - verse of the 12 Days of Christmas at the Ministries Christmas gathering held in conjunction with the final Parish Council meeting of 2018. The dinner was sponsored by Manny Louros.

St. Nicholas Giving Tree

Holy Trinity once again starts its Toy Drive with the annual St Nicholas Giving Tree Program. Please feel free to stop by the Sunday School Bulletin Board in the foyer and pick a ornament off the tree and place a gift or two under the Christmas Tree in the Church. Deadline this year is Sunday, December 17th. The gifts will be given to the the New Rochelle WestCop Program Christmas Party. Our goal is 150 gifts!

Holy Land Pilgrimage

Today (Wednesday) our Pilgrims begin their trip at the Dome of the Rock and a visit to the Patriarchate of Jerusalem and an audience with His Holiness Patriarch Theofilos followed by the walk commemorating the Way of the Cross.

Holy Land Pilgrimage

On Tuesday our pilgrims spent 3 hours going into Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity to pray in the manger and venerate the place of Christ’s Holy Birth. The day continued with visits to Shepherds Field where the Shepherds heard the angel tell of the Holy Birth in order to find Him. Following that visit they visited the monasteries of St Symeon and the Holy Cross and also visited the monastery which commemorates the birth of St John the Baptist.

Holy Land Pilgrimage

Today our Pilgrims began their day in Cana at the site of the wedding where the Lord performed His first miracle of changing water into wine; then they proceeded to Nazareth and went to the home of the Virgin Mary followed by the workshop of Joseph. Then the group finished today’s trip on Mt Tabor at the Orthodox site of the Transfiguration of our Lord.

We welcomed today Fr. Evan Evangelidis, pastor of the Annunciation Church in Stamford, CT. Fr. Evan remembered his three years of service to our parish as a deacon.
